Hey there, after recently reinstalling my wheel hubs, I noticed that my parking brake actuator is pressing up against it making a clicking sound as I turn it. Does anyone have any idea why is this happening and how I can fix it? Thanks!
The lock must be inserted between the braking pads.
There is a rotating adjuster at the opposite sides of the braking pads. The lock should be seated like it.
The springs are different at the top and at the bottom.
I'd wager that you have the pivot, #5, in backwards, or flipped, as it's easy to do and pushes the armature outwards. Have you tried to just set the rotor in place and actuate the parking brake?
It's a PITA system that is just a hassle, but you'll get it!
Well I appreciate the advice, and I tried flipping the actuator, but I noticed it didn't want to fit in, and it still rubbed and made a clicking sound. I also noticed when I pull the little black rubber protecting out of the trailing arm, it no longer clicked. Any ideas?
