    ireland sways

I was looking into getting some Ireland Engineering Sway Bars. I have HR Sport Springs. I really want the car to corner as flat as possible, but I don't want it to oversteer at all. I'd rather have a touch of understeer in exhange for sure-footedness. I'm between getting a 22mm front sway and leaving the back one stock or buying the 25mm front sway and a 19mm rear sway individually. Any opinions?
There is a certain elegance to the nasty old M20s that is hard to recapture in the more modern power-plants.

The 22mm/19mm IE sways work best with H&R race springs, but I think they'll be okay with your Sport springs. The rear bar is adjustable and I think you'll be able to balance the car.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The front bars adjustable linkages wear very quickly in areas where road salt is used in the winters. My only complaint so far.

I've also got H&R Sports w/Bilstein Sports and looking to upgrade to Suspension Techniques 22/19mm sway bars and also incorporating the IE reinforcements that bolt thru the trunk floor--if this this combo will fit? 95% street car use with occasional track day or autox. Do you think I'd like it?

I think you will like it a lot. Be sure to weld in the reinforcements on the trailing arms.

Right--are the $25 ones from Turner the best to use?

also be sure to re-weld the front sway's mount tabs as they are prone to breaking off because whoever welds them up doesnt penetrate.

                I hate it when a they don't penetrate. ;)

I think I saw a pic of someone's reinforced frt tab, was that yours? Is that an actual part or just extra welding?

I just got a 25/22 set used off of someone on BF.c. Came with everything. I will be installing the front tomorrow.

yeah, was mine. I just ground down a majority of the previous weld so there's minimal material to go through on the second round of welding and did a proper job of welding.

Sway bars seem to be absent from IE's site.

Is this necessary for the IE 22/19 sway kit? I plan on running billie sports and Vogtland springs. I'm not looking for a particularly stiff ride, just less roll than stock and sharper turn-in.

Also, is there anyone who's running my combo who can comment on comfort? I'm planning on doing the IE street urethane rear subframe bushings and refreshing as much rubber as possible with urethane.

Lots of work in the coming weeks, I just need to know what I'm getting myself into.
