Need Help Identifying these Shocks

Got these off a parts car and want to know if this
set up looks functional? Seems to me the springs are a bit short. Came off an 87 es and
going on an 87 is.

Ground control coil overs and probably Bilstein shocks.

Looks like a 6" spring, so plenty long.
The shock is just really long because it's hard to find a shock that fits the e30 housing that doesn't have a ton of excess travel.
You'd have to pull the strut insert to see the part number to know what it is, but that is a bilstein boot.

I appreciate the responses. Going to clean them up, replace the Guide supports and wheel bearings, and give it a go.
