They are used and I'm sure there fully seated in..... my bav auto springs sat better then the h&r's also have billy sports.... im happy with the back. but the front is to high. i don't think i want to remove the rubber pads... but i might how much lower will that make it? drop hats might be an option not sure where to get them and they might be to low.... some camber plates lower the front, which one will? and how much lower? probably want it about 1/2 or 3/4 inch lower in the front....... any ideas? ill try and get pics soon.....

There are a few options here.
1. Camber plates- maybe 1/4-1/2 inch drop
2. Cut one coil off of the front springs- varies in drop
3. Drop hats- maybe 1/2 inch drop
I would personally just cut a spring because its easy and it gets the job done. It will also make for a stiffer spring rate.
Good luck

Just take the damn spring pads out. You could do it in 3 minutes with a razor blade."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Maybe 1/4-3/8" for the spring pads.
Before you lower the front anymore take a real good look at how little clearance there is between the ground and the oil pan. Then think about all of the things you could hit with the current ride height. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

To the OP -- sounds like you just want the car on the ground so I'd say fuck it and hack off the top coil.

that's what I'm thinking save my tires on the street, get to the track and set it up with my track wheels..... where is the best place to get them?
