    318 springs on a 325?

Hey so i got myself a set of 40mm drop springs from another forum, but i found out they are for a 318.

they are progressive rate springs, but will they just not work?

They will probably work but you will get more of a drop than 40mm at least in the front. Also they may be a little on the soft side. Also I think the Early 318 has smaller diameter springs (these wont work) what brand are these?

well, i wouldnt mind more than the 40mm drop, since they were supposedly 60mm springs.

they are jamex, and the part number says they are for 82-90...so i think i should be ok on that end.

im pairing them with billy sports.

Yeah the front shock inserts on 84-85 318i and 86-87 325 (I believe) was 45mm vs 51mm but springs are the same diameter.
