    Crazy bumps steer with new upgrades

    Installed HR race springs Billy Sports and a 95 M3 rack with PS delete. any suggestions?

        you had it aligned, right?

        were the spacers above or below the rack when you installed it?

          The wheel getting pulled out of your hands is not bump steer. Undo your PS delete or eat more cornflakes.

                    How much PS fluid did you leave in your rack? Also, what method did you use; alum block, ps line loop, 2 holes?

                    If there is too much fluid, it will be stiff as hell and jerk back because there is no room for the fluid to travel. On my PS delete, I left about an ounce of fluid in there.

                      I had a similar problem with my ps delete. It was the same problem, too much fluid no where to go.

                        I used a alum block and filled the rack. turning it one way then the other. and topped it off.

                          I would try to let some fluid out to see if that helps the problem. The only reason the fluid is needed, is to lubricate the rack. A very slight amount will do, as the ATF fluid spreads easily.
