Funny, that's exactly what i saw looking into the K&W's after you mentioned that. For ~$1.5k, you really can't beat GC. :hitler:'89 325i track sloot

Just a little clarification and news that might help.
I recently ordered my KWs from Tunershop in Germany and asked the owner about the whole situation with cores and whatnot.
Heres his response...
"In Europe you can buy KW coilovers for BMW E30 but you will have to pay a core charge - roughly $600 - which will be credited after returning the OEM struts to KW.
In the US market KW decided not to do this since the coilovers have to be made in Germany and the shipping procedure is too expensive.
TUNERSHOP has a bunch of OEM coilovers in stock which we can use for custom made orders from our US customers.
We will not charge any core charges and our customers will not have to send their OEM struts back to us or to KW.
I guess we are the only company which offers a complete coilover system - made in germany - without any core charges and shipping & return issues."
Like i said before, i've used KW and Tunershop.com a few times in the past, i figure if i'm driving a quality German product, i may as well make the effort were ever possible to use quality German products to modify it.PBMW Magazine. PVW Mag

Around $1300, but I'd email them directly to see what they can do at the time you are going to order.

I'm running the custom valved e30 GC kit. After buying the kit, as well as front housings from a part out, sending those to GC, and having them shorten, weld, and powdercoat them. As well as getting the m3 endlink points fabbed, and ordering their adjustable links, it was less than, but close to I think $1900 for everything, shipped to my front door. I got their camber plates, RSMs, done up housings, all sent to me assembled... Very fair price and I'm pretty happy with em so far.
PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

Order Ground Control from Ground Control. They'll have the Koni's you need. Are you tracking the car, or just going lower? PM Hellabad.'89 325i track sloot

mainly looking for major drop and daily comfort, i understand that there's compromise of going low and comfort, but i can sacrifice SOME comfort for stance.Comment

300 lbs/in front and 500 lbs/in rear should get you low enough without being too harsh.'89 325i track sloot

there is a fallacy with going too soft though. Too soft and you have a ride that sucks because the car bottoms out all the time. Ride comfort really comes from dampers, anyway. There's an AST 4100 group buy from elephant motorsports if you've got the cash.. :)Comment
