I read through this thread and didnt see anybody post that the wheel arches on the later e30s are lower in the rear than the front. I believe that is what you issue is. So it will always look reverse rake when in reality it is not. Go measure it if you like. You can lower the front more but then are messing with the geometry of the suspenision. So at that point unless you also lower the rear, it will be purely cosmetic more than function unless for a special application that you need a bigger rake like dragsters.

^You're already messing with suspension geometry just by lowering it.
If you get the GC plates with either the IE3's or H&R race's, all you're doing is lowering the front a little bit and adding some adjustability to your front camber.
You really won't be changing the geometry for the worse.

True to the above but the OP was talking about cutting the springs.^You're already messing with suspension geometry just by lowering it.

I have had about 3 weeks on my H&R race. Love the way the car drives but dont like the stance, it appears I'm having the same issue as the guys with IE springs. I curently have the UUC camber plates which apperently dont lower the car. I am considering changing to the GC camber plates to corect my stance. What GC camber plates should I get, I see there are more than one type. Thanks..Comment

There is a guy on here making them and selling them. Try searching as I forgot his name and am too tired to search for it.
I cut the front spring pads and double stacked the rears with an extra set that I had and I can't even tell the extra few mm differenceOriginally posted by NicademusMy car beats off to that car. :bow:Comment

The lower you go, the worse the geometry gets.^You're already messing with suspension geometry just by lowering it.

They should work. As long as UUC is truthful in their description of the item. "No change in ride height" Is a claim directly from their site. So if they manufactured the plates to be the same height as the stock strut mounts, then you are good to go.
I think the only camber plates that drop hats would not work with would be GC plates due to the distance between the top mounting plate and the top of the spring seat (of the drop hat)-tim
