I bet I could get my Dad to help me rig up a press (like we did last time). Otherwise, soap it is.

Just started this tonight. Honestly it feels like more work than when I replaced the engine. I've only got one side out cause the freakin old ball joint broke off in my hub and so I'm drilling it out. I got so fed up I decided to be done for the night. Its so annoying I wanna punch a baby but not really lol

Up front you have:
Tie rod ends
Control arm w/ inner and outer ball joints
Control arm bushing
Strut mounts
In the back:
Trailing arm bushings
Subframe bushings
Shock mounts
That's about it. Then you have motor and trans mounts. Then the driveshaft center support bearing and flex disk. That should be about it for rubber parts.Comment

I just wanted to recap:
aside from the control arm ball joints (which come with the control arm), are there any other ball joints that I should be aware of?Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
Mark: "Didn't you just break a rocker arm?"
Me: "Yeah, I don't think I've learned my lesson."

Ah!
I guess I should just get a new tie-rod assembly for that side in case the ball joint is busted on the tie rod, then, eh?Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"

Turns out I do not need a new control arm as my car no longer pulls so hard.
The pulling was due to my extremely worn tires which have been replaced with new ones.
Could use a toe adjustment, though.Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
