Use a hack saw to cut the outer metal ring of the bushing, there will be an arrow or a mark on the new bushing that you must line up with the mark on the lollipop.

Here's a picture to kinda give you an idea.

Regardless of whether the bushing is marked with an arrow or dot, the correct alignment is with the hole in the bushing closest to the "stick" of the lollipop.

use an air chisel to remove the old ones from the lollipop, and a cut off wheel for the control arm part, being very careful not to damage control arm. there is a rubber sleeve between the steel of the old bushing and control arm.

            Good luck!

you can use a press as well. new bushing->old assembly->sockets on the bracket. then tighten the vise and the old will slide out and the new in.

I suggest a 3 jaw puller to remove the old CAB's, rent one from an autozone for free. Made it a breeze. Cutting is to risky. There really is absolutely no need to do it.

spray the control arm with windex and then wiggle it on before the windex dries. but make sure that you put the lollipop on the right way so that the circles that stick out on one side will fit into the recesses in the car.
