IE3 springs, drop hats, no pads up front, lower pad left in on the rears, stock tires on 14" weaves.

The stock hat is on the right, and the E90 hat is on the left. The stock hat has angle, the E90 hat does not.

I have both hats in front of me, the holes are both in the same location. The E30 hats have an angle built in like I said.

Horizontally or vertically? I didn't take notice, or even think to measure, when I installed mine.

I would like to point out that the E30 hats have an angled seat for the mount, where the E90 hats do not. Not sure if this could change anything/add problems/make spring seating uneven.

Also, the strut ring on the bottom of the E90 hat is interesting.

I'm having trouble visualizing how this installation works. Anyone have a writeup / pics?
