Damn I didn't even think about the int'l shipping. Hmm looks like Iv'e got some thinking to do. I've got an interview soon and if that goes well I'll probably just ponny up for the coils.

If you want coils then you might as well save up the extra for them. I push the FK's pretty hard but I did end up selling my set and getting coils. Theres still no comparison to being able to change your spring rates and height this easily. The FK's are great for a low daily/back road fun car, but if you want real performance I'd say get the coils fa sho.

Sorry if that made your decision harder lol.

Also which setup is stiffer Sports or the fk kit?
    Thanks

I dropped my car on the cheap, only problem I have is shock longevity (using stock ht shocks and keep getting them at the junkyard lol). I have a fabrication shop, so the necessary tools were at hand).

Found some 6.5" coil over springs during one of the visits to the wrecker and saw a Nissan with 2" shock towers and a coil over conversion. You can get the same thing on ebay (they are listed for Honda coil over conversion) get the high/low kit. Cut off the lower stock spring perch and grind it smooth, then weld a collar to let the adjustable seat sit on. Cut the threaded tube so that your damper retaining nut will hold the tube in place. Then you will have to drill the top perch that comes in the kit to fit your shock stud, that's it.

I started with the springs that came with the ebay kit, but now am using the Nissan springs, KYB shocks in front and Bilstiens in the rear.

I have an early high-arch car and stock bottlecap wheels 185/65 front, 195/60 rear...

My fenders are 23" off the ground all the way around.

I just ordered those cheap springs from slick car last week.
I know, most of the time you get what you pay for, but they will due for a while, it's really just my weekend car.
I'll let you know how they are next week.
Looking forward to seeing the stance and your review on them.

I am, that picture is just showing the tire size. The white car is redhoodridah's old car with my old FK's. I never had any good pics of my car with the springs and the picture of his car doesnt show the tires too well.
