Does M3 rear sway fit a standard e30?

    Does M3 rear sway fit a standard e30?

    As title, does the rear sway frmo an M3 fit a standard E30?
    This is a picture, the seller here says that its from an e30 M3 and the arms are abit longer than the normal e30's arb?

    Yes, you can replace your stock bar for a E30 M3. At least I can on a late model. It's the exact same bar as the iX as well. The end links are the exact same too.

      it's not longer, it's just thicker. dimensionally it's exactly the same.

        idk why people always want to upgrade the rear sway.?

        just do the front and leave the rear stock if you want a great handling e30

          OK, thanks for the info guys.

          xwill112x: In my case, I want to buy this sway since my 318i M40 came stock with no sway at the rear. :) And I don't want to get an aftermarket sway because as you mention, it makes the rear too stiff. I plan to go aftermarket front tho. :D

            sways in the rear usaully make over steer annoyingly common, and snap over steer all the time is no fun.

              But I'm sure a stock M3 bar is not excessively large?

              I'll be running a 21 or 23mm bar in front as an upgrade to my stock 18mm.
