the stuff you removed from the trunk probably cancelled out any height you would have lost by installing springs. removing your spring pads would probably be the way to go to get some of that back

I guess the default is H&R (conv specific) and Bilsteins.

Anyone have the Bavarian Auto suspension on their Cabs????

H&r race springs with bilstein sports
kmac camber caster in front, bav auto eccentric bolts in rear
i think the eccentric bolts raised the back with the camber dialed out.

    Vogtland Springs
    KYB GR2 Shocks
    IE Sways 25mm/22mm
    15x7 +12off with 205/55/15 Kumho SPTs

springs are decently stiff. but the shocks are dont offer sufficient dampening.
they are stock replacement shocks, i dont recommend them for aggresive driving.
the sways made a big difference in the tightness of the car.
the car is fairly soft still, and very comfy for daily driving

i WILL upgrade to coilovers down the line

I daily drive this car. A perfect setup for a daily driver. E30s should come from the factory like this.

This is a great pic, can you guys post your convertible pics with suspension information, that is my project for this short N East season.
    Any advise will be appreciated.
    Thanks

Of course this is all subjective: what's tight or stiff to you might be bearable to me... and I'm sure that your roads are a lot different from mine.
But I appreciate your quick response. There's only one way to really find out without riding in someone else's car...

I'm thinking about getting 500# fronts and 800# rears, that's why I ask. I thought around 800# was pretty high....
Both. Super tight handling, and a very stiff ride. You can literally feel the road. Its worth it though
