Front bump stops...

My Koni's came with the soft, progressive 19-24mm ones.

Sort of on topic, but I've got bilstein sports and eibach prokits ready to go in. Should I put bump stops in, and should I trim them? Also, are the dust shields necessary? Can I just buy them stock?

I am in the process of installing my Bilstein sports. I am trying to open up the bottom to get at the bump stop to cut it shorter. Does anyone know the easiest way to get at the bumpstops inside of the Bilstein shocks? Thanks.

for the konis......dont even bother w/ the dust boots....
I spoke to GC......and ended up getting there special rated bs's.....12 bucks each......

About these bump stops you mentioned, I don't see them anywhere on Ground Control's site. Can you shed some more light on these units you purchased?

they are made by ground control for use with their koni setups.

Bilstein sports already have bumpstops installed.

I'm just trying to be sure I order the right stuff. I don't like to have to remove, return, and reinstall parts. I'm already going through that with the CAB's on my wife's E30, lol.

I'm going to go with the 19-24 mm soft, progressive strut ones. Am I correct to assume they will work with the IE's and Konis, even though they are meant for GC setups?
