    IE or GC camber plates?

looking at either the IE camber plates or GC touring plates.

-Has anyone had experience with the IE plates? Do you like them? Are they worth buying?

-How are the GC touring plates compared to the IE plates and the other GC plates that cost more, I guess the others are the race version?

trying to keep to price down below or right at $300. thanks

IIRC the IE plates are poly. GC is spherical and has a shorter stack height.

    spherical > poly

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

I dd on spec E30 GC plates, no problems and I love them, not to mention the lower stack height.

          Actually GC has both.

The confusion is my fault for making too many e30 camber/caster plates. :loco:

GC race= small bearing for clearance
GC spec e30 race = big bearing
GC street prepared race = small bearing for clearance
GC rallye30 = big or small bearing
GC Street /Touring = center urethane bushing with steering bearing
          GC 325ix = big bearing

If you have stock diameter springs , the best choice for the OP is the touring plate.

there is an R3V discount code that GC will still honor.

                    IE has three different plates.

Spherical encased in urethane = street/track
                    Spherical adjustable = adjustable race
                    Spherical = Spec E30

Hope that clears things up a little. Call/email if you have any questions

Nothing negative to say about the IE race plates I have/had. They offer the shortest stack height from their lot. I'm fond of GC though and would choose them over the two if given the chance.

I run the Vorshlag plates. I have no complaints. I will be looking at the GC's for my next car though, just due to the fact that they are more user friendly from what I have seen.
