    Switching to coilovers

I wanna switch to coilovers but I only have a budget of 1300.. and I want GC coilover set up. I was wondering if I could get this set up for that price.. Any suggestions or advice would greatly help. This is like my first time doing this... Thanks! =)

Call them and see if you can order it without camber plates. That should get the price down enough and most people don't really need camber plates.

I don't always wreck cars, but when I do I wreck them into trees.

Agreed. You could pair them with Bilstein Sports and keep the stock upper mounts. It's be a pretty sweet $700 setup and brand new!

Because.. they are not expensive enough.

These are BMWs. You need to be more arrogant.

OP, depending on your E30's duties, JOM may be a good option for you while saving a lot of caah for more important things... Or even more car money to play with.

JOM's are good if you're not full out insane on your E30. I have them on my daily driver and I like them. Low and stiff enough to take corners at nice speeds, but also not uncomfortable. I plan to get a set for my turbo coupe in the near future. :D

only downside about JOM is the shocks they come with.
do the GE group buy and get the advert. spring rate.

i have GC with 450f amd 750r and oh god is it intense for a DD. glad im young.
but in the twisties and corners...fun as hell and it stays planted!

                              Down side to JOMs:
                              Not a "sporty" valved shock.
                              Stuck with the ~350lbs/~500lbs rate.

This could or could not be a downside depending on use for the vehicle as mentioned above; if you're not insane about your E30.

With that said, GE group buy is where it's at. Not going to find a better deal.
