I might consider the GE... But this is my first time buying coilovers and know not a thing about them.. Anyone knows the spec on those coilovers?

The spec? What do you mean? Go read the thread, contact the seller for more info if you need it.

Save up the extra for Ground Controls.

Their collar blows away the stupid double locking ring bullshit. Plus you get their custom valved Konis, quality camber plates, etc etc.

I don't want to spend too much on coilovers, I'm only willing to spend 1300 tops. GC won't part out the camber plates to lower the price. What are your opinions on GE coilovers? Plus what's the next best coilover out there next to GC coilovers? Any info would be appreciated.. Thanks!

GC conversion kit paired with Bilstein sports. You can do that for under 900 shipped to your door. Look up the thread and fab the housings and you are done. OR ship me your housings and I will do the fab work/welding for 120 and you pay to ship them back. STILL you are under budget =)

I like ast suspension. Its a little pricey but i think its worth it. My next purchase will be some AST struts and shocks to go with my coilovers. Heck I i already have the hypercoil coils so i'm halfway there.

                      Stuck with the ~350lbs/~500lbs rate.

This could or could not be a downside depending on use for the vehicle as mentioned above; if you're not insane about your E30.

With that said, GE group buy is where it's at. Not going to find a better deal.
I really really really want to see the full version of your sig pic. Plz PM it to me? lol

To add to the confusion, I have GAZ coilovers on my car. They came in at around $1400 (I can't remember exactly) shipped from the UK. They are custom built to your spec, and that price includes camber plates. They are excellent quality, and ride very well. They come ready to bolt on minus a hub/bearing assembly. There is a ton of adjustment, the threaded portion is almost double the length of some of the other setups I have seen

Why? Afraid they will last too long?

My bronzit car had the coilovers on it for approx 5 years before I got it in 2008, then I drove the car for a year, and the same set of coilovers in on another car in the FS section, still going strong after tens of thousands of street miles and numberous Auto-X's and track days.

Like I said, save up the extra money and buy high quality stuff.

Ah. . . an illiterate. I see my work here is done.

(if you look closely, and read, that price includes a $900 core charge which is deducted when you use your housings. So, as I stated before, it costs $1100.)

If I could just spend $1100 for them and didn't have to wait until December for them to show up I'd buy them in a heartbeat.
