    Best rear strut mount?

What's the best rear strut mount? I know ie has a set but I was wondering if there was anything better. For street maybe track use, going to have bilstein sports.

Reason for my asking is I just picked up my wheels for the 5lug swap. E38 style 5s! And struts are next on my list.

there aren't any struts in the rear, do you mean shock mounts?

i have bilstein sport and h&r and use the e46 m3 cabrio mounts which are commonly used to replace worn out factory style ones

You know I was thinking of going for light weight plastic to save weight. But it has to be strong right? Maybe carbon fiber?????

                Go troll something else.

And yeah I meant shock mounts. I was in the moment when I posted this after aquiring my wheels.

Thanks for the input everyone else.

I got my last set from AKG. They are expensive, but well made. I probably would not have spent as much but I needed them to go with the Koni's my wife got me for x-mas.

For the longest I ran e46 cabrio mounts with the z3 plates. For Bilstein this is most likely what you want unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket.

These are what I ran in my e30. They're pretty beefy.

I like the Rogue Engineering mounts. I found the Ireland urethane mounts to harsh for the street, and the reinforced rubber mounts on the Rogue are a nice compromise. Plus, with their inverted bolt design, you can attach the rear shocks from the wheel well, without having to take apart the trunk to get at the bolts.

ditto. Its not uncomfortable for street use, NVH does go up a little bit though vs using E46M mounts
