Do non airbag cars steering racks fit in airbag cars? Was planning on doing a e36 m3 rack but no luck finding any.

If you have an airbag, the knuckle is ok, but you will probably have to open the hole in the fire wall to allow for the angle change.

the 318ti/z3 steering racks have a much quicker ratio. they bolt right into the e30 chassis as I have one. however, you must modify the steering joint section to get it to fit to the e30 column. Though i'm not 100% certain if you must use e36 outer tie rods or e30s in conjunction with a 5lug swap. i have the rack in place but haven't bolted up knuckles yet. can anyone answer me that please???LEVINE AUTOMOTIVE
