    help me ID some springs!

i recently came across some springs on a vert at the yard...they felt pretty stiff so i figured i'd give them a shot, but they have no markings.

the car had this nifty little guy, so i assume they give some drop.

I had some German spec'd Eibach springs a while back that were the same exact blue color.

thats what I thought. I had a set or rear baby blue springs. Edwin said they were old school H&R races. They were stiff. Stiffer than my lowtechs im on right now.

I have the same ones. They seem to be much stiffer then anything else. But still ride nice.

Never figured out what they were - but I'm keeping them.

There doesn't appear to be any writing anywhere on them. I was hoping the color might tip someone off?

            Thx!

Hmmm what company doesn't have any ID marks on their springs? We know eibach and h&r do. What about Dinan, old Turner j stocks, Hor technology? I'm just throwing some other names out there.

not to discourage you, but that's a terrible idea for a skid plate. coz the impact would just immediately transfer to the pan considering the weld is solid.

think about it this way, that oil pan is now even more lower because it is a unit with the plate.

Looks like suspension techniques to me.

ST looks like a pretty good match. I can't believe they just labeled their springs like that.

That's a junkyard car, not mine.

Seriously. But yeah, the front at least look the same.

Yah, those were my old springs. The rears look like they were painted black, as you can see the blue coming through. But other than that they look just like the ones the OP and george graves posted. And they also had those two little divets exactly like in this pic: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2295566/springs/springs3.jpg
