Yeah, "loose and darty" at speed is indicative of too much toe-out. Or at least that's what Forza Motorsport taught me:p

Offset bushings give the front wheels more positive caster. Positive caster reduces bump steer and gives the car better straight line stability. Basically, more positive caster makes the wheels want to go back to straight. It makes the car feel more stable at higher speeds.

this maybe a dumb question, but how are they installed correctly and the same on both sides if the holes are offset?

There are small marks on the metal housings, I just lined up the holes as close as I could to these. I think the OEM M3 bushings have marks on them as well so they just line up with the marks on the housing.

When I installed mine I just did it by eye, the W/A after showed caster was almost identical for both sides. like within 0.02 or something, was way out of factory spec but thats to be expected.

You might want to try and setup a group buy with them. Me and 2 other people ordered a pair each and they gave us a 30% discount. ended up costing around $63 USD for a pair including freight from the UK - CHEAP. (That was direct from powerflex in the UK www.powerflex.co.uk) I know of quite a few people running them and haven't heard any complaints. Easy to install as well, no hardout tools needed or anything.
