I just purchased ground control coilovers with 450f/600r rates; I'm going to be using them with 325i not ix or g60 Bilstein sports up front and KYB Camaro shocks in the rear. My question is; is it advised that I shorten the front strut housing with the Bilstein shocks I am using even though they are not shorter than stock? I've searched and there is too much conflicting information. I'm not looking to hellaslam the car, just a slight drop however; if I can gain travel / improve handling by shortening the housing then I will.
Should I shorten strut housing?

How will u shorten the housing without using shorter shocks?"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
