You are correct. I should have specified where I got my numbers. For the front, I am counting the number of coils between the ends of the spring (when looking at the side of the spring, with the ends visible, there are 5 coils between the ends that will seat on the spring perches). On the rear, I counted the full width coils, but ignored the pigtail ends. I am aware than this is not 100% accurate, but am sharing it as a ballpark estimate of the spring rate to help people make their decision.
I will add data once I install them and can accurately measure the free coils under compression. Until then, however, I am curious to know how the different ST springs compare to each other, as that would certainly affect peoples choices for ordering. There are currently m3 springs still available. Who knows if they will add more.
