i have still yet to install mine im getting ready to swap my transmission hopefully ill have the springs in in a month...and using drop hats see if my oil pan likes that..
After running for a couple of months on st M3 springs with e90 drophats on my 325, I've decided to ditch the drophats when I swap the shocks. The drophats add a little too much rake, with too little suspension travel before hitting the bump stops.
Ran an ice race (that was more of a mud race) with the St springs. They were great, being stuff enough to control body roll and prevent bottoming out over bumps, but soft enough to not be jarring.
Now that I got my car in working order the height looks great but I'm disappointed by the ride quality in the rear. Just too bumpy for my taste as I'm still having whiplash neck issues from my car accident from 5 years ago.
I shouldn't run into any issues if I stick my stock 325e springs back in there, eh?
I've decided to leave the springs in as I've gotten accustomed to the ride. Also, Celebrex does wonders.
I've added in dpring pads in the rear to get rid of some reverse rake as well.
