Thanks for your input... I never thought about looking into KW. Makes sence since ST and KW sold by the same company. 362 is nice in the front but 371 for the rear is somewhat soft if paired with fronts. If you install springs in the near future, would you please post some pictures. Thanks

Also I've gone through the entire thread and didn't see much about the kinds of shocks everyone is running with these springs. I'm doing a suspension "refresh" and would love some input. (FYI I'm on a pretty tight budget). Here's the link:

Can't wait to get these bad boys!
Congrats! I would assume you want to run Bilstein Sports with these as they do have significant drop. That's what I am planning to use.

As soon as they get here as well as my Bilstein Sport front strut/Camaro rear shock combo I'll be putting them on. I'll be sure to snap some pics as well. From reading what others have said in this thread I have a feeling that rear spring rate is wrong. I'm guessing its probably higher than that.

I can't get a more level photo if requested.

Looks good! How do you like the spring rate in the rear?

The ride is very sporty, these are the kw branded springs and shock/strut setup.

Spring rate in the rear feels very good but you mileage will vary with the shock combo you use. I have yet to autox the car with this new set up.

I did email kw North America directly and they said they would have to get the spring rates from kw Germany. The rates that are floating around are inaccurate I'm pretty sure. These feel just as stiff as the z3 h&r race springs I had on there previous to the kw.

Thank you very much. Drop looks great and spring rates are promising. I had H&R race on my previous e30 and absolutely loved them. Hope ST's are similar. Can't wait to install them.

This thread totally looked promising and then I went to ebay and it seems that all the springs in the high $200 range! Just comes to show supply and demand or just plain greed.

Neither really. The deal was for new old stock of their earlier version of the springs. Once those were gone, the only springs kW na is selling are the new stock of their new version of the springs, which are higher priced.

The st springs I got had packaging that was dated early 90's. 92 iirc.

My packaging was dated 7/2012, but I bought the 60/60 kit. From what I recall the reason for the low prices on eBay was KW was discontinuing the ST line (or certain lines) in the states.

I called KW NA directly and this is the cause. They were clearing out old stock to make room for other products.
