I finally installed these...only in the front though
im running the st in the front and hr sport oe in the back...
it lowered my car 1/2 an inch more than the sport oe...they aren't
as stiff as races, they feel really similar to hr sport with a little more drop...
handles great so far I have e90 drop hats in the front ill try to get a picture

after st springs, e90 drop hats

I had a 3 finger gap with the oe now I have a 2 finger gap
so it wasn't much of a difference but worth it :D

Installed my springs on my 91 318is the other day and the rear looks decent, but the front is waay too high. I hate it. I have the e90 drop hats also, but it looks terrible with the reverse rack.

I am going to have to change them out or cut at least one coil. I hate to go the ghetto route, but I have to do something about it.

What size wheels do you have? It's probably because late model wheel arches go lower in the rear

Did you keep all the spring pads in place? Take out the fronts or put the rears back in depending on what you did. Could help a bit.

I believe so. I bought them a while ago through the ebay seller that was linked at the beginning of the thread.

Yes, all pads are in place still front and rear. If I'm taking apart the front again, coils will be cut. That will fix the height issue.

Anyone have experience with ST springs # 63209?
They are 325i 6 cyl yellow springs with 2.4" drop front and rear.
I would like to know spring rates and possibly some pictures of them installed.
After searching for an hour with no luck, decided to ask fellow enthusiasts.
                            Thanks

I just purchased a set of those off eBay for a steal. The most I've found is that they are the same as KW 60/60 springs and I've seen varying numbers for the rates. The last one I looked at said 362 lbs front and 371lb rears. I don't know how accurate that is though.

So I just bought these for my 1991 318i. It's stated as 2.4" front drop and 1.6" in the rear. Just wondering how that'll look and if anyone has pics of that .... Also I've gone through the entire thread and didn't see much about the kinds of shocks everyone is running with these springs. I'm doing a suspension "refresh" and would love some input. (FYI I'm on a pretty tight budget). Here's the link:

Can't wait to get these bad boys!
