Busted my sway bar mounts

couldn't someone weld on the reinforcement plates without the tab being there and then just using that plate for the new "tab"?

this is my planned course ill report back just waiting on the plates from ie

Ok finally got this done:










I just reused the old bushings as I didnt want any more squeaks

can anyone explain why my steering effort increased after this?

Nice. I had to swap out my subframe when I found out PO did the same thing to my car, it isn't too bad but welding is much simpler.

Yea no way was i dropping the subframe for this, it worked out great
