    worth it?

    ok well im thinkin about gettin some new sway bars. i was thinking either the ST bars or the big IE bars
    i was wondering if the ST bars would be worth it, 1mm bigger up front and i think 5 out back(correct me if im wrong) would that be worth it?

    I was under the impression that IE's were bogger but they sucked for street and track compared to the ST's.

    I'm just asking also since I would like to know also.....

        there are two IE rear bars now, 19mm solid and 22mm hollow. also don't forget they come with the reinforcement kit which is supposed to be one of the best.

          Stock rear bars are 12mm so thats a 10mm change, in the front I think 325i's have 18mm and cabrios have 19mm. I am unsure on the front numbers though.

            front bars are
            m3 = 19
            325 = 20
            cabby = 21

            the ST set is the one to get. good price and deal.

            unless you have coilovers and are uber cool to rock a big front bar with m3 endlinks, and the stock rear bar, then have rates making the balance for you.

            so if you don't have coilovers, ST bars are the best deal

              also, the stiffness is the difference in bar diameter squared or something, so don't go by 10mm bigger....it's a lot more stiffer than it seems.

              i dunno, check online for the exact equation. i don't have much time
