Raceland is finally making e30 coilovers

Dunno if it's been posted up yet, but just wondering if anybody has pre-ordered a set or if they have more info on them.

Tried contacting them about early model fitment but avoided my questions and wouldn't give me any straight answers.

I would pre-order but not sure if they'll get me low enough with my early rear arches.

WTF? $369 for coilover springs/adjusters AND shocks??? Something doesn't add up.

            JOMS! that makes sense.

good luck with raceland. if you plan to go low without cutting the strut housing, any shocks won't last couple months.

Not totally true.. I've been running GE coil overs with the sleeves flipped and them all the way down for a year now. Use to drive my car 60 miles a day until I recently parked it. I run billy sports all around. My sports are still as good as when I installed them. Without cutting the housings or using camber plates, you can't get truly low anyways.

I for one can vouch for raceland as I had them on one of my mk4 Jettas. I hit a curb and destroyed my wheel but the raceland survived. It will be interesting to hear how these rate with people.

Those are interesting that it looks like the springs are flared and uses the stock spring hats and mounts, looks like a safe way to cheaply go adjustable if you aren't looking for a performance suspenstion.

                      This.

If they are painted JOMs, they're cheaper than they normally go for.

What are other options to get an early model low(er)? I have an Eibach Pro-kit and want to go about 2-3" lower...

i have racelands on my other car. they are good for being low but comfort and performance go down the drain.

Air, or shortening your shock housings up front and running shorter shocks up front and in back.
