Suspension question

So I have recently replaced springs and shocks all around. The tie rod, control arms and steering rack has also been replaces on my 325i. Now I am having a thump sound when I do turns. I don't know what it could be so any help will be appreciated.

Does the thump come from the front or rear. If the front I'd first suspect that the struts weren't properly reassembled, probably the large washer that goes on top of the uppser spring perch is missing.

If front, something to do with the spring perch/strut mount.

If rear, busted RSM?

Well the sound is from the front and the thing is that it doesn't happen all the time just in some turns. I would have to remove everything to make sure its on there. It's mainly on the right side too. Well my rear to but that's my axle shaft that moves.

The sound you describe is similar to one that I had after doing a complete steering/suspension refresh. After a couple of days of head scratching I noticed that one of the CA outer ball joint nuts was only screwed on to the depth of the nut so every time I hit a bump the taper section would pull out then pop back.

I've added that to my list of dumb ass things I've done only with this one I was lucky and didnt do any permanent damage...except to my ego :/

Yeah I checked all that and I thightened everything just in case. So this past Sunday I put it on jack stans and turned the steering wheel all the way to see if I hear the thump but there was no sound. Only when it's on the floor I hear the thump.
