DIY install or DIY end links?
Install is simple. For the front: undo one 13mm nut on the control arm and undo bolt/nut on the sway bar end.
Rear: undo one 13mm nut on the trailing arm, pull the sway bar link off, lube up the shaft with astroglide and push the new sway bar link on, then reconnect to rear trailing arm.Your resource to do-it-yourself and interesting bmw and e30 stuff: www.rtsauto.com

Yep, male spherical rod ends (L & R threads), and female threaded rod. Rod length will depend on front or rear application, as well as control arm or strut mount for the front.
