Are my GC Coils installed correctly?

These coils were installed by PO and I want to make sure they were done correctly. Photos were taken while car was on a lift so rear springs is "popped out"

        Good to go.

Are those the race plates up top? If so you may want to consider swapping to touring plates if you're going to DD.

Also, I am planning to replace my shocks to Koni Yellow. Can I get regular fronts or do they have to be modified?

                Fronts say Eibach 262503 GC150.64.77 - 440lbs
                Rears say Eibach 288354 0500.255.0700.0

The rear is VERY bouncy on bumps and every time I hit a bump, front makes a clunking sound

I'll call GC and find out prices. I have a wholesale account with suppliers so was hoping to get something cheaper

dont cheap out on shocks...if poss.

billie sports are ok up to a certain spring rate. Im at the office and I cant decipher the gc p/n..but I can figure it out later...but looking at the p/n Im wondering if they are 700..?..a bit much for the street......maybe the shock cannot handle that rate.

it shouldnt be bouncy tho.....not if all is well.

come up to westchester..we can check it out.

sorry meant to ask..are your frt housings cut?....if so you will of course need a short insert.

                      ok..

                      for the rears...

Im gonna say 500 is 5 inch length, 225 is 2.25" coils...700 is 700 lbs...

and u think the frts are 440?....

thats a decent combo...but as I had said, 700 is a bit much for the street...

what rr shock is on the car?....it sounds like it cannot control the springs rate...therefore bounce.

I just called GC and spoke with Mark. WOW talk about customer service... Thanks dude!

I have 700lbs rear springs. Interesting thing is that PO purchased adjustable Koni shocks meant for shortened housings. HOWEVER, they are not on the car! My rears are regular orange Koni and front housings are NOT shortened. I am also missing bump stops. Time to spend more money :(

Those seem like good rates to me. I've got 440# fronts and 650# rears on my car with the short koni SA. The rear is pretty planted and not bouncy at all unless I go over really rough roads.

                            Mark rocks..

700 is too much rate for those shocks.

so what frt shocks do u have?...and are the housings cut?

cause if they are not cut.....and the inserts are reg. length...and car is lowered a bit.....you could be bottoming the shock

how much range of height adjustment do you get with a typical GC setup?
