    TMS.com Bilstein/H&R Spring package $599.99

I once read in a thread that the Bilstein/H&R Spring package for $599.99 from turnermotorsport is a really good setup. I have decided to keep it simple and invest the $650 or $700 it will cost after tax and freight. It lowers the car by 1.25".

Is this a good choice for a 90 325is and does anyone know if I would scrape when riding over minor bumps and potholes with this setup? Tire and wheel specs below:

    1990 325is
    Wheel offset: 38
    215/40 R17

    Thanks

    a) You won't scrape.
    b) It's a perfect DD setup for the driver that still wants performance. Doesn't make the noises that my GC setup does, and isn't as harsh.

These alone do a lot for improved handling. At a later time when more money becomes available, you can install a sway bar kit to make a good thing that much better.

        What's "DD" setup?

At turner, you can also add a set of sway bars for an extra 3 bills i think.... As part of the package...

So would that setup be better on a DD then GC? I don't have too many bad bumps that I can think of but I do want it lower.

If your car is going to see daily use Id swing for the Bilstein/H&R combo in a heartbeat.

You might. It depends on the size of the bump.
Potholes won't be a problem, but going in and out of steep driveways you will scrape if you have a front lip. Also, i have even scraped while crawling over speedbumps.

I would still recommed it for a daily driver though.

Erik are you running 16's or 17's? I was wondering about this setup but don't know if 16's would be better clearance wise.
