Got my J-stocks in last night. Off the car, they are a good 1.5" shorter than H&R Sports. When you get the upper spring perch on the shock, the spring is still 2" short of touching the upper perch lol so you have to be real careful when letting the car down on the ground and make sure the spring is seated right. Also got my adjustable sway links in. I havent really played with those yet but I set them all the way down and let it be for now. I LOVE the J-stocks. They arent as bad on the street as everybody thinks. More after this weekend prolly :)

      Pics or ban :-P

I've been interested in seeing how these set up the E30 (especially plastic bumpered cars). What rates are the J-Stock springs you got? Conflicting numbers have circulated. Are your B-Sports standard valved or custom set up?

I can probably get pics up in a week or 2. I dont know when I'll be back home to the 'rents house. The back is about the same as H&R Sports and the front fender is about even with the top of the tire on 195/65-14 Bridgestone Potenzas (bottlecaps). As far as spring rates, I've heard conflicting things as well. I've heard around 680/1086 and also I've heard the rears are around 900, so I dont really know for sure. The Bilsteins are from Turner Motorsport that are valved for the springs. They are the old style that have normal rears. The new set they have has updated rears that are inverted. Supposedly for more shock travel in back or something. I really do like these alot. The circle off-ramps on the highways that have a recommended speed of 25mph, I can go about 55-60mph and on H&R Sports it seemed like 50mph was about the limit on the tires I have now. The next thing I am buying is a skid plate from 666fabrication though. I worry all the time when hitting holes because the oil pan sits so low. Initially the J-stocks arent THAT stiff. Everyone made them out to be stiff as fuck, which they are, but they arent as bad as I thought they would be. You DO feel every little bump/crack in the road and it may be too stiff for some people that daily drive the car (this car is my DD) but I really like em.

No worries on getting pics asap.....just giving you chit ;-)

I suspect that J-stock springs, despite their stiff rates, aren't as bad as the numbers indicate since these are a progressive style spring.....to an extent at least. If you ran these rates with linear springs like GCs your car would be a rattlecan in no time.
