Does anyone have experience with both ge coils and gc I really want to buy some coils but I'd rather wait around if the ge coils are better (other than price) I just want some low!

Not if you trim the bump stop.

I'd rather pay the extra 40 buck or so and get what seems to be proven

I had custom bilsteins with shortened bump stops, the ride quality was still awful.

Where did you find German Engineering springs? No searches show anything. Did you mean Ireland Engineering?

I believe they're not currently available. There was a big group buy on them stupid cheap a while back. They're a high quality system using Hypercoil springs and adjusters that a user on here had made up.

The coilover conversion collars are all the same, get whatever is cheaper. The springs can be purchased separately since they are just Eibach (GC) or Hypercoil (GE) and you can put Hypercoils on GC collars or whatever combo you want. The E30 is very simple.

Cool I was tired of waiting around anyway, ordering the kit from gc right now and buying a set of koni ix front shock I'll get the rears in a bit so it doesn't seem like I'm spending as much money lol

You'll be happy with it. Until you are a fucking master driver and feel you need something like an AST setup, you're not going to reach the potential of this setup. I'm still messing with the dampening settings of my Konis. A quarter turn from full soft is great most of the time (not jarring) but can get the front end bouncing a bit over "washboard" sections on the highway.

+1 for Camaro/MR2 KYB AGX's. Cheaper, stiffer, shorter, and adjustable. Changes compression and rebound together, not just one or the other.
