    Dropped on gc Springs. Bouncy.

I attribute it to the soft front Springs. But just curious on what going on.
First of my rates are f-300 and r-600. I just bought f-500 to replace the 300. I didn't put the adjusters on the rear (85 early arches). It's not terrible but it feels a bit bouncy. Just curious what would cause this. Bilstein sports all around.

      ^^^What he said.

Shocks/struts are what prevent bounce, not springs. Are your struts new?

It'll be more bouncy with your new springs up front.

Raise the car all the way up and go for a ride, then report back to us how it feels.
            That'll tell us a lot.

Great input. I pulled the rears from a junkyard. I had only done the fronts and rode around on that for 3 months. When I finally got around the doing the rear it got all bouncy. I'll try camaro agx on the rears next.

I'll turn up the fronts once I go to install the new Springs. Btw the fronts are turned about half way. I didn't cut the stock spring perch.

Post a pic of your ride height. You are probably sitting on, or very close to, the bumpstops.

I'll try and get better pics. Wheels are oversized. I'll get numbers.

Yup, your bouncing off of the stops in front. The 300 pound springs will contribute to that. 375 or 400s up front are the best choice when paired with billys.

Trim the bumpstops. The ride will improve quite a bit.

Okay. I have 500 Coming in. I'll report back. How about the rears you think? Should I go camaro shocks or stay Billy sports?

Billys will handle 600-650 in the rear.
AGXs will add adjust-ability at the expense of ride comfort at higher settings, as the compression valving ramps up with rebound quite aggressively.

The highest rate I would use on a Camaro AGX is 450, maybe 500 if you are bold. The adjuster doesn't do a whole lot for high-speed (only about 25lbs of adjustment) but adds a good bit of low-speed rebound. Doesn't really do anything for compression.

edit: here's the graph of a Camaro KYB AGX
