Thats what IE's site says. Anyone know if this is true or holds any water?

It's true, Eibach also makes the springs for GC setups - so it's not that Eibach sucks balls, its that the pro-kit sucks balls.

Even if it doesn't sag, and I was wrong - it would STILL suck balls. Lowered car + non-stiff spring rates = riding on bumpstops = BAD HANDLING.

      Basically, anyway. lol

          All rear struts do.

They aren't really needed in the rear though, more-so up front.

I don't ride on my bumpstops at all, my springs have also not sagged. I have had them for 3 years.

                They are not stiff though.

                Sold it.

When you guys say bump stop what are you talking about exactly? Cause there was a rubberish foamy thing around the piston on the fronts on the old stock boge shocks that I didnt use. Thats not what you are referring to is it?!

I have bavauto (very similar to eibach, short and soft) springs and Ive cracked my oil pan once, but i was four wheels in the air. With the bilstein sports the car feels under sprung, the shock goes through a lot of travel over dips and rises but when if i hit a big pot hole (truly unavoidable around here) it'll bottom right out.

Im gonna switch to H&R sports, I think the stg 3s are just going to be too much.

yeah, the bump stops are the foamy thing that looks a corroded. I didn't know where to fit one on the bilstein fronts so I left them out.

Alrighty. That is good to know. I was worried I didnt put all the right shit back together.

I put one set of eibach's on bilsteins. Riding those now on my 88. Gonna put H&R sports and bilsteins on the 89 next week and see if i like it.
