Just bought the GC street coil set. Rears were cake. Fronts however, are not. Having issues getting the strut into the tube far enough to thread on the collar. Any others have issues?

Did the shocks come out of the tube ok? Hopefully the tube isn't bent...
Just spitballing here but maybe sand the paint off the shock?-Christian

I had this issue with one e30
Ended up sanding off the paint on the strut and it went in
Another time it was bent from a previous accident and due to the bilsteins being a little larger in diameter it wouldn't fit
