two things i see when i look at your car. first, your wheel/tire combination is really really small. they look like 14s. getting something of a larger diameter will help you. my car has 17's but i suggest 16's. that is in my opinion the perfect rim diameter for an e30.

second, the front looks a good deal lower than the back. i would endeavor to raise the front an inch or perhaps more than whatever you do to the back...

find some level pavement and measure from the ground to the rocker panel behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel to see what you have. as mentioned above, don't pay any attention to the wheel lips. the rear is designed to sit lower than the front.
I am shooting for 16x7 with 205's but for now 15x7 will have to do. Once I get the coil overs I will look for some style 5's to fill and redrill as 5 lug conversion is too much work. I think I like the M3 spring look and the functionality of the springs themselves should be sporty too.

    Thanks for the advice.

The ride is definitely tighter than a stock E30 would be, but I like it because it still absorbs bumps pretty well even with the 16" wheels. The ride height also means I can drive pretty much anywhere without worrying about my oil pan/undercarriage. I think it's a pretty ideal setup for a daily driver. And in the interest of full disclosure, I'm using Koni adjustable dampers.

In other news, the car can also haul over half a ton of cargo without bottoming the springs

H&R Sports on Koni SAs. Just drove 10 hours round trip to NC last weekend and still have all my fillings.

H&R OE Sports work well for me - has about the stock M3 ride height but with more spring rate.

I laughed like crazy when I opened this thread. Just because of what I was expecting by reading the thread title. Not try to offend anyone. Yes I thinks so.e sport springs would be what the op needs

Yeah I guess I should'ave thought the title a bit better. Being at work and trying to rush this in I guess I just went with my first thought. You are not the only one that expected to hear of bottoming out and oil leaks with broken pans, which is what I'm trying to avoid by the way.

Dude your car looks great on those ronal LS's!

So, would you describe your set up to be harsh? Livable for daily?

Thanks! Definitely livable for daily duty if I had to do that.

Have you pushed it around any canyon roads or auto rods tracks? How do you like the performance?

What about over rough areas or pot holes?

Sorry for so many questions. Maybe we should move it to PM.

Good to hear! I'll be putting on a similar set up on my daily.

Had the same issue and installed E46 15mm rear spring pads. Now, its a perfect height all around.
