Steering effort isn't too bad at all, just need to be moving and its nothing.

Also, I believe the difference is 4.0 lock/lock for power and 4.1 or something insignificant for manual rack.
    it's 4.25

    E30 steering is already SLOW

my point is, why do people want to make it even SLOWER?

that's fine, I understand, everyone wants to be FUHRAZE and remove things from their car that neither make them a better driver or make them faster (since 99.9% of you guys drive on the street, and that's it!).

but it weighs less so it MUST be better, right?

The manual rack is too slow now that I've done some research.

My car is a POS that came with the manual rack standard, hardly FUHRAZE, but I do try.

All I'm saying is 6% is SFA difference in rack travel. Yeah the E30 rack is slow but I've never considered putting a power rack in, just not needed.

When going for a decent fang the manual rack is far more fun and isn't a problem at all when parking.
