hey guys im looking to do suspension on my car. i like a tight ride but dont have alot of money to spend..i can either go with votgland springs and leave the shocks stock, or go with these.

vogtland springs are not bad. i ran them for years with no problems. those KYB probably arent that stiff, but if yer on a budget, that setup looks descent.

I have KYBs on B+G springs. I say they are a great DD setup, nice and smooth. Too much rake for an early body without a BIG subwoofer, IMO.

I have not tried Tokico on an E30, but I have had them on my old VW. I like the KYB better.

I got mine from an identical previous auction, and am puting them on this weekend, so we'll see. If you're still thinking about the same set-up in a few weeks, I can maybe give you an e30 specific review.
