stiff springs in winter = r3v.

one of the reasons why I am going with softer spring is for wet conditions...

Yeah, I'm with Cary on this one.
I've had a couple 8-9 hour drives to Vegas with my 450/750 lb springs, solid THR eyeball arms, 17" rims, etc etc and it was not that uncomfortable even considering I just recovered from a broken tailbone a few months earlier.

Well, I'm on 500 lb rears with 19mm rear sway and TMS aluminum Subframe mounts... it's not too bad, I could see where the 750 wouldn't be too crazy either, especially with no rear sway.

"As stated by Jean Alesi, famous ex-F1 driver the 1986 BMW E30 M3 is one of most enjoyable best handling road cars he has ever driven, offering astonishing balance due to its 48/52-weight distribution, telepathic in choosing the correct line, with a chassis that is alive and gives the car a personality, which is missing from many of today’s mundane cars."
The spring rates are 140 and 250.
I have Tokico springs ( 165 - 265) with M3 front sway links and mount tabs on the OEM bar. On the rear, I shortened the sway bar arms 1". After four sets of varying spring/bar combinations, I ended up emulating the M3 for a daily driver.
