Looks good, but as others said there is a bit of a reverse rake which is why I have been leaning away from the H&R springs. I want something that's going to drop the front .3" or so more then the rear.
I definitely need to get the hustle on with lowering my car. Especially with 17's on the way... Thanks for the motivation! :D1991 BMW E30 318i sedan

The reverse rake comes from the lower rear arches of a late model e30 versus the older model with higher rear arches. It has nothing to do with the brand of springs that is used.Comment

Its merely an optical illusion. ;) But in all seriousness, the chassis isnt actually reverse raked, it just looks that way because of the arches.sigpicComment

yea, and I think he knows that, but some springs out their lower the rear less for that reason if i am correct.sigpicComment

I ignored your first post with “Reverse Rake” Bull Shit, but now I’m glad that others didn’t.
And what makes me “n00b”? The fact that I have less then 5500 post counts? Or may be that I don’t type N-zero-zero-B to spell out a word???
I’m pretty sure that I have experienced more cars then you dreamed of. And the car in question is my “Project”, “Fun” car. Not my only means of transportation.
I suggest you take your anger/sarcasm and leave it with yourself.Comment

.5" is plenty ;) This isn't even too low... only on H&R sports (same drop as H&R race for those who seem to think otherwise).

I don't care what H&R's site says. For starters, it conflicts with their technical staff when you call and ask about it. They don't sell non-M e30 Race springs, you can call and verify this yourself. Vendors sell them as normal e30 springs because they are interchangeable though. Look at most respected vendors sites, you will see 1.5" drop on the front for sports and 1.6" drop on the front for Races.
Turner has 2 sport springs listed:
1984-1991 318i/M3 = -1.0" / .75"; 325i = -1.25" / -1.25"
1984-1991 318i/M3 = -1.25" / 1.25"; 325i = -1.5" / 1.25"
And the race springs:
1984-1991 -1.6" / -1.5"
I have both installed on my cars, and have measured nearly identical drops. Same thing for the rear, just the drop isn't as much for either spring, but still nearly identical. Don't know why everyone argues this with me. The race springs are only slightly shorter and have like 2/3 higher spring rate, why would a car be lower on them?Comment

But what do I know, mine has only been bottomed out countless times, ripped off twice, run over once and still mounts up with no noticeable damage...Comment

Thanks.
As for the trim paint for whoever asked, don't do it. e30's need contrast. Only reason I didn't do it is because my BMP rear is body color, so it would look really bad at that point with black trim up front.
If you must, here are pics...
