    best low springs

I know you people are going to say search, but I did and I couldn't find anything.
What are the lowest springs you can buy that are cheap and would still be good? I wont be tracking my car, but I will be doing some spirited driving. Over 2 inches lower is what I am looking for. I have heard of KW and Lowtec being pretty low, but I cant find much about them. I also think that I heard of a 80/70 kit, but I cant find anything about that either. I know about H&R race and IE3's too, but they are a little pricey.
Show pics of what you have.
    Thanks for any info.

P.S. my car will have an m30 in it when I do these, so the front will be a little lower.

i think the lowtec 60/50 with no pads will definatly tuck some tire search lowtec i just saw some pics of a red car that recently installed them. also if you want a lowtec kit theres a group buy for springs or whole suspension kits http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=868932

I have seen the 60/50 and I think that it is too high. I haven't seen it with good wheels though, only stock ones. Does anyone have pics of a 60/50 drop with some 16" wheels? I would love to have some GC's, but this is kind of a budget build for me. Looking to spend under $200. No one knows of a bigger drop than 60/50 with just springs?

Edit: the stance my car has in my sig is what I am looking for.

No prob. If you want to be tracking your car though, you will want some stiff springs. I would say that Ground Control coilovers would be best, but you could probably get by on IE3's or H&R race with some stiff sway bars.

You think a 60/50 on stock wheels sits too high? Are you SURE you saw 60/50? When TJ (Digitalwave) had his shocks/springs, his car fog light was eating the floor.

You seem to want something good. Go with IE3s. Best bang for the buck. "Oh but they are expensive". Save up. It's worth the extra effort.

If you want to properly go as low as your sig, ditch out the credit cards. The setup will run you $1300+

cut the springs Jk do not do that. get HR coilovers they can get you really low. but they cost alot. basicly how low you want its going to be like 1000+ if you want a nice suspension.

I got 60/50 lowtec's on mine. I don't think i'd want to go any lower. The back has gone down some since i installed them. My oil pan is 3" from the ground and so is the front lip.

JasonC - you got a side shot of your car that you could perhaps throw in this thread?

I was acutally searching this forum and I saw a couple of people that have the cup kit on their car and it looks good, but I don't understand what the cup kit is...

I'll get some tomorrow if you want. I have some pictures when i first put them on but it didn't look like a 60/50 drop. They've settled now.

Awesome! I noticed a lot of people take pictures right after installation before the springs settle nicely.
