Rear sway bar reinforcement

Those look pretty badass. That's the first i've heard of those mounts going through the trunk (which is probably the cause of confusion). They probably work very well.

You would be the first person I'd know of to use those, and at $125/pair I doubt many people on this forum would have them.

I'll try to snap a pic of the ST mounts tonight just to give an idea of what they look like.

GET THE IE SWAY BAR SET. It is by far the most beautiful set of swaybars that money can buy for the e30. 25mm hollow 3-way adjustable front bar with adjustable links, 22mm hollow completely adjustable rear bar with adjustable links. The bars are stronger than other bars but lighter as well. The reinforcements that go through the trunk are fucking beefy as hell. I LOVE THEM.

I dont see how a hollow bar could be lighter/stronger and still be better, i think its a alot of advertising crap.

IE advertised a solid bar for the rear, but when i got mine, both the front and rear were hollow.

Both bars are incredibly thick and the hollow center isn't very big. It saves a little weight and I'd be willing to make a wager that they're stiffer than all the other bars for the e30.

It's not too big. Trust me. But then again, I don't know the deal with the iX. Do normal e30 sway bar kits work for you? If so, then i'd recommend you get the IE front and rear kit. It comes with the links and the rear enforcements (both the triangular weld-in pieces and the trunk bolt through) for $425. It's pricey, but includes those $125 rear re-einforcements.

not the front, just the rear. the front can be modified, but I don't think I need a lot more front bar.

They are Turner valved Bilstien's. Turner refers to them as J-stocks....

Are they upside down? I dont remember what the struts I had before looked like...

Usually the body (large dia. outer part) sits at the bottom, like Koni's & stock shocks for example.

What rate rear springs do you run with them?? 400, 500, 600??

Not sure what the rates are, It's Turner's J-Stock package with there own custom wound H+R springs
