urbanimport.com it says 1800 on there but they'll sell it for less. just have to talk to a rep there. FYI they come with 6k front and 6.5k rear rates and you can't get higher.
anyone here use D2 coilovers?

It isnt. These coilovers work on 4 or 5 lug e30s since there is no strut modification required to install them.

They are proprietary springs so they don't fit the standard coilover metrics. Unfortunately
theres 2 kits, one is a weld in. its a different shock setup and you have to make your own tube... kinda out of my league.
Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!Comment

Hey guys,
Im seriously considering these.
Would the Spring rates they come with be a good start if I just take my car out to auto-x every once in a while? But mostly use it for DD?
I think these woulddd look so awesome with the 16x9's im getting with the coils all the way down.
Thanks

The purpose of coilovers is to have different spring rates available?
It's a benefit to have interchangeable springs, but it's not the purpose of coilovers.
I use my coilovers for height adjustability depending on what size wheels I use.

My point is that when you buy a set of coilovers, you don't get many different sets of rates that you'd like to use.
To my knowledge, there is no one here with GCs that even owns a spare set of coil springs to "adjust" the rates.
You do it once the way you'd like to do. You don't really "adjust" it.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

For the money I bet GC outperforms these by a ton. Koni shocks vs some unknown chinese knockoff crap? 36-way adjustability is marketing bullshit.

I was always under the impression it was for:
1) corner weighting the car to optimize F/R R/L weight distribution
2) changing rates easily if the combo you have isn't working for your style
