92 Vert Steering Rack

Hello all,

I need to replace the steering rack on my 92 325i convertible. I've been looking online at rebuilt racks but haven't had much success. Are there any recommendations to source a rebuilt rack that isn't going to be outrageously expensive? Thank you for any input.

If you want to stay with the E30 rack, you can buy a repair kit with all seals (for example, Febi for $26) and look for a local shop which can rebuild it (most shops will be able to order a kit themselves).

You may want to look into upgrading to a quicker ratio steering rack. A little more work and a few extra parts you'll have to buy but you'll love the results.
