Best extreme performance summer 16" tire

So i am now throwing a s50 into the equation and am wondering if i would be better of with a 225/45-16 kdw2 in the rear and maybe a 205/50-16 front or would i be better running star specs all around 205/50-16? How badly would the stag. tire width efffect handling/balance? This is for my daily driver 91 that is slammed on 16x7" & 16x8" wheels. Thanks

Dont stagger the tires, you will get under steer. I have XS's. They are crazy sticky and are 215's but I will get star specs next. If price is at all a factor the star spec has to be the champ.

PS I live in San Diego, can somebody tell what "wet" traction means?:)

I fucking loved my star specs. I went with Kuhmos on the Alpinas and it seems like they take a minute to warm up, I've gotten loose more than once pulling onto the main street at night.
