What is the correct offset for an M-Technic vert?

Looking to buy some wheels for my M-Technic convertible. It is my understanding that this model came with 15" wheels unlike most E30s that came with 14" wheels. What is the proper offset required. How much leeway is there.

      same as a normal e30

you can go et20-30 pretty easily depending on the wheel width

i'm pretty sure the wheels were the same 14 inch weaves, except painted white for a white car.

          Wrong.

You are thinking of the lame chick cars that are the all white '92 Mtech "appearance package" cars.

The true Mtech verts were all '91's and do indeed have 15" basketweaves.

              Wheel offset

So if my wheels are 7" what would be the minimum offset.

you could do ET20 no problem

remember offset is related to wheel width, the wider the wheels the lower offset you generally need.

LOL. You just know chicks were all over those when they came out huh? Could explain why so many were automatic. He has a true M Technic that came with 15x7 ET24 "euroweaves".

                    Finally a straight answer

Bought some 15" wheels for my true M-Technic vert that had an offset of 18. with some passengers in the rear the tires, when going over a mild bump in the road, would hit the inner fender area. Got my eye on some Rotas that appear to be a perfect fit. The RB pattern which I think look a bit like the old Mini Lites with the correct bore size as well as an offset of 25. Thanks all.

Post some pics bro. I never get tired of Sterling silver especially M Techs.

et 18 doesn't become a problem until you get to 9" wide wheels. Even then, not much. What is the full specs on the wheels/tires/suspension?
